Abba Regana was one of the longest serving Grand Masters of the Jedi Order. After her Master Narix had died, she assumed the position, and ruled for ninety-six years as Grand Master, finally dying at the age of 112 against superior Sith forces in the Invasion of Bakura.

[edit] Early Life
Not much is known about Abba's past before being put onto the council, but it was said that her abilities as a young Jedi were much higher than the standards for the rest of the Jedi.
[edit] Speedy Promotion
After the death of the entire Jedi council, Abba was promoted to take the spot of her former Master at the age of Nineteen, Narix, the Grand Master of the Order.
[edit] First Apprentice
After becoming the Grand Master of the Order, Abba took on her very first apprentice, Samuel. Abba took her time in training the young Jedi. When the Council felt as his training was complete, he was knighted.
Years later Abba's brother, Jorrik, joined the order and was trained under Koras Aldamar while Abba began her training with Kit Nook.
[edit] Sith Encounter
On a mission to Korriban Abba met up with her Sith Uncle, Darth Taboo. Taboo had threatened to kill Jorrik. Abba ended up in a duel with the Sith where she lost her left hand.
Soon after they return from Korriban Kit Nook was knighted and Abba took Vyn Rotak as her next apprentice.
[edit] Betrayal
Sometime while Abba was training Vyn, her first apprentice, Samuel, turned to the Dark Side. Later he turned back to a Jedi, and chose to be trained by Abba once again.
[edit] Death
In 86 ABY, the Sith invaded Bakura, only days after most of the Order had left for their new home. Jedi Councilmen Xander Vos and Lyn Korak defended Abba to their last breaths, Xander even using Abba's lightsaber to decapitate Darth Minious, before they were killed, and her as well.
